Our Living Room

So this is a little peek at our house. We moved in mid June of this year and there is still so much to be done but so far I'm pretty pleased with our progress.  We bought most of the furniture when we moved in because in our apartment we really didn't have the room for anything besides some basics.  You may not be able to tell from the living room photo but we still don't have a couch.  We spent months agonizing over which one we wanted and finally gave up.  When we see it (and the price is right) we'll know it's the one and we'll pounce.  Until then we'll just have to get cozy on the couch downstairs. In case you can't tell from the photos, the living room walls are gray and the dining room and kitchen (which I didn't show) is a light blue.  
I wish I had some "before" pictures but I don't think I have any.  Trust me though, it was pretty blah. Think beige walls, dirty floors + windows, one of the ugliest light fixtures I've ever seen (that my husband unceremoniously knocked down with his head-yeah).  Moving forward I will try to take before and afters of the projects we do because I think it's cool to keep track of those things and be able to look back at them.
